Fellow Daniielle
Danielle is a passionate advocate for development and social impact. Her interests developed during her undergraduate studies in International Relations, Business Management, and Anthropology where she learned the importance of diverse perspectives in problem solving. Her commitment to global issues led her to Solar Sister Inc., a social enterprise at the intersection of women's empowerment and clean energy distribution. After gaining experience working in the development space, she pursued a Master of Public Policy at DePaul University in Chicago to deepen her understanding of public-private partnerships in achieving social good. She served as a Research Assistant to three professors at the School of Public Service, working on topics including; the impact of furniture on formerly homeless individuals in Chicago, the role of leadership development in Sub-Saharan African organizations, and the perspectives of global students in relation to the environment.
As someone who is excited about positive and equitable societal change, Danielle has found an inspiring community as a volunteer with the Chicago Global Shapers, where she currently acts as the Administrative Lead. Outside of her professional pursuits, she loves creative hobbies, including beadwork, embroidery, and reading. Danielle also shares wellness insights as a regular contributor to Adaaba magazine, a women-focused publication.
