Ipsita K

Project Manager

Ipsita is driven by the values of equity and social justice, with a passion for using policy to create an impact in under-resourced communities. A dynamic and solution-oriented strategist, she brings with her a diverse range of experiences across nonprofits, academia, and the arts. In her role as Project Manager, Ipsita drives Business Development and Client Services work, while building out efficiency and management systems. She also leads APS’ mental health policy work with the Kennedy Forum, and was instrumental in organizing DemPalooza at the Democratic National Convention.

Prior to joining APS, Ipsita worked as an Associate at the Block Museum, helping lead yearly acquisitions. She has also conducted research on pedagogy for multilingual students, and previously created a robust photography curriculum for schools.

Ipsita graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Social Policy and Art History. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Chicago’s many museums and testing new recipes.
